what you can do

10 things you can do (updated 10/4/01)

Host or participate in a Conversation Cafe
Come participate in -- or host -- a Conversation Cafe, a public space where people can gather to talk in small groups about an important issue, and share something to eat or drink. At Conversation Cafes about September 11, we will be learning together how to create a culture of conversation -- which is truly a culture of intelligence, of peace and of political awareness. WE are the media. WE are the talk shows. WE are America, waking up and tuning in. Link to New Road Map for a basic set of agreements, processes and material ANYONE can use.

Press Release (updated 9/21): "Diverse Coalition of Americans Speak Out Against War as Solution to Terrorism "
If you are press, or have any contact with the press, help get publicity for this press release,, which Danny Glover (on the board of Positive Futures Network), David Korten and other YES! board members and staff initiated. A diverse group, from Rosa Parks to Bonnie Raitt to Martin Sheen, have already signed it, and more influential Americans are adding their support daily.
