Democracy
Series 04 · 1 explainer
Democracy is more than election day. This series explains how voting systems work, from ranked choice voting to proportional representation, how citizens decide budgets and policy in assemblies and study circles, and how campaigns are financed. We describe each reform the way its supporters and its critics would, and we do not take sides on parties or candidates.
